What sizes are the dark green and blue taffeta? Not too worried about the green one being too short in the skirt, as I can make a petticoat to go under it.

The blue taffeta fits me laced up with a one inch gap behind the stomacher. Its fully removable, i only ever safety pinned it on cos it was for a wedding, not SCA use. Skirt is pleated on and from the waist to hem at the front is 40.5 inches long. Its a little long for me, i need to wear high heels to walk in it.

The green is a really snug fit on me - my bust is 42 and my waist 39. If it was not velour, it would not fit. This is not too long on me, so its about a 37-38 to the hem, but its dropped waist too, the bodice ends on the hips.

Hi Beth,

Do you think the dark green goth dress would fit me (ie, how fitted is it)? If so, I'd be very interested in it - let me know how much you would like for it.

love

Catherine

The green is velour, so its got a bit of stretch. it still fits me, but the skirt has shortened a bit.

i just tried the green on, and its a really snug fit on me - my bust is 42 and my waist 39. If it was not velour, it would not fit. This is not too long on me, so its about a 37-38 to the hem, but its dropped waist too, the bodice ends on the hips.

The skirt ends on my ankles.

Hmm, if I've measured right, my bust is 42 and waist is 36, and I'm shrinking if I'm doing anything, so that probably would work.

I think you are taller than me, so that sounds like it would work well... I'm actually in the market for a dress to wear to a wedding later this year, and this might be perfect.

Name your price, O seamstress of ineffable talent!

Perfect! Its an old dress, but i'd part with it for $20 cos its still in good condition. I must check your address, will email you.

Hugs.
